The photo is called "The Legend Lives On" and the person in the picture is named Lubbock cowboy and his horse in front of a spectacular West Texas sunset.
Critique:
Response: how i feel about this photo is longing to go to the ranch where i volunteer every weekend and a relationship between to befriends, working hard to gain better trust. The sunset ends a long days work and they spend there time together.
I see shadows of a horse on his two back leggs facing the cow boy, who is throwing around his lasso towards the horse. The back ground in of a sunset with the colours of pink, orange and light blue/purple. The title of the photo is "the legend lives on" down by an unknkown photographer but,
JOE GULICK AVALANCHE wrote an article about the picture and the picture was done with colour in the background. That this picture was tooken in texas and somewhere in the middle of a feild. This is a very powerful shot and has alot of meaning to what horsemanship means in a cowboys life. If I were in the picture i would love to in the cowboys position and experience what the cowboy is feeling/seeing.
The photo shows beauty, power, strength and spirit in a world. This photographer could of made this photo to show the wild side of texas and that a cowboy is just not a name but a role/responsability of being a rancher, that you need commitment. Yes the title does match the image (the legend lives on) because, even though the day has end tomorrow will bring a new day of work and creating a new story of excitement with his horse, like the movie "Eragon".
The picture is balanced with the horse and the cowboy and this picture i really realistic.
This photo interests me with the feeling of freedom with you and your horse.
